Mo Mahmoud
Senior Pooled Index Investment Specialist

Mo sits at the intersection of index strategy and investor engagement. Working across pooled funds, he helps shape the narratives that connect portfolio construction to real-world outcomes to translate index logic into capital flows, client conviction, and commercial impact.

In a role that spans roadshows, institutional presentations, and thematic storytelling, Mo brings investment ideas to life for a broad audience of pension schemes, consultants and fiduciary managers. His remit includes strategic support for product positioning, RFP support, and fund development, as well as authoring market commentary and thought leadership that distils complex market dynamics into accessible insight.

Mo began his career at L&G's Asset Management business within the Index Research & Development team, where he contributed to the construction of rules-based, factor-driven strategies. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, a combination that reflects his analytical precision and systems-level thinking.
