Oliver is an Investment Specialist in the Private Credit team, working closely with the Investment Team and Distribution to deliver investment insight to clients. Prior to joining L&G, Oliver was an Emerging Market Debt Product Strategist at BlackRock, where he covered the Corporate Debt and Absolute Return strategies. Oliver holds a BSc in Economics from Southampton University and is a CAIA charter holder. Prior to working in finance, Oliver spent several years working as a professional chef.

What does bond yield volatility mean for private credit?

The start of 2025 saw investors having to grapple with significant market volatility. For private credit, we see no reason to panic at this stage and find attractive opportunities in the short-dated space.
