Global Head of Private Credit

Nicholas is Global Head of Private Credit with responsibility for L&G’s private credit business comprising corporate, alternative, infrastructure and real estate debt assets.

Nicholas joined L&G in 2016 from RBS where he held a range of senior roles serving the financing needs of borrowers in Europe. Most recently, he was Head of UK Corporate Coverage, and previously led the Corporate Debt Capital Markets businesses across both investment-grade and non-investment grade and Western Europe and CEEMEA regions.

Nicholas’ earlier career focused on the private placement market working in both New York and London. He advised on several of the ground-breaking transactions for this market extending the size, maturity, sector and currency limitations that had constrained it. Nicholas graduated from Durham University (BA) and London Business School (MBA).
