Chris Hopkins is Head of Venture Capital for L&G's Private Markets platform. He was previously Chief Investment Officer of ADV, the regulated venture capital manager of L&G.

Prior to joining ADV, Chris was head of Venture Capital at a European family office. Chris spent the early part of his career in the UK government, specialising in venture capital, technology and innovation policy before becoming the business adviser to Prime Ministers David Cameron and Theresa May between 2014-2017.
