Trista Chen

Trista Chen is the Head of Investment Stewardship Asia (ex-Japan) for L&G’s Asset Management division, based in Singapore.

She joined in 2023 and is responsible for driving the firm’s global investment stewardship strategy with a localised approach. Trista leads firm-wide thematic and sectoral engagements, focusing on human rights, climate, people, governance, and nature.

Before joining L&G, Trista was a Partner at global sustainability consultancy ERM, where she was responsible for the financial services industry and M&A service strategy in APAC and has almost 20 years of experience working in the evolving ESG and climate change landscapes.

Trista worked and lived in Greater China and Canada before relocating to Singapore in 2021.

She holds a master of environmental design from the University of Calgary and a bachelor of science, honours science and business with a chemistry minor from the University of Waterloo.

Trista is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
