Justine Schafer

Justine heads the L&G Asset Management climate modelling team and manages the L&G Destination@Risk toolkit, designed to answer the key questions investors should be asking around climate change.

The toolkit provides a range of investment-relevant insights, from evaluating plausible future climate scenarios to assessing company-level climate risk and impact.

Justine joined L&G in 2021 from a climate-focused economics consultancy, where she worked on quantifying the risks and opportunities from climate change for clients in the financial and resource extraction sectors.

She holds a BA in Economics and Finance from McGill University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
