Michael Morris
Fund Manager
Asset Allocation

Michael joined L&G in 2018 and is a fund manager in the Asset Allocation team, where he manages dynamic multi-asset and alternative risk premia strategies.

Originally from New Zealand, he began his career at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, managing fixed income portfolios and contributing to tactical overlays across bond and currency markets.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of Canterbury (NZ).

Now based in London, Michael brings the same energy to portfolio management that he once brought to New Zealand’s mountain bike tracks — albeit with fewer injuries.
