Lewis Ashworth

Lewis Ashworth, Senior Analyst, Climate Specialist, is responsible for climate and energy transition related research and engagement within L&G’s Asset Management division.

Lewis joined L&G in 2022 from the Institutional Investor Group on Climate Change (IIGCC), where he was a Programme Manager.

This involved techno-economic analysis of energy transition topics and the management of IIGCCs responsibilities within the Climate Action 100+ initiative.

Prior to that, he was a graduate researcher at the UK Government Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and a Data & Communications intern at the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21), based in Paris.

Lewis holds an MSc in environmental technology and energy policy from Imperial College London, as well as a BSc in physics from the University of Sheffield.
