Catherine Ogden
Director Investment Stewardship, Asset Management, L&G

Catherine Ogden is the Director for Investment Stewardship within L&G’s Asset Management division and is responsible for climate, leading thematic, sectoral and policy engagements and integrating our approach with investment teams.

Catherine also leads the integration of global norms and conventions into company-wide responsible investment policies.

Catherine joined L&G in 2015 from Adam Smith international, an international development consultancy, where she worked for four years with governments in Africa and Asia on the sustainable policy, planning and management of the oil, gas and mining sectors.

Prior to this, Catherine spent five years as a cross-sector French small and mid-cap equity analyst.

Catherine graduated from what is now the University of Durham in 2005 with a BA in economics and modern languages, and in 2011 from the School of Oriental and African Studies, with an MA in globalisation and multinational corporations.
