Chi has overall responsibility for the portfolio management of bespoke solutions mandates at L&G’s Asset Management division.

His experiences include implementing and optimising many interest rate and inflation hedging programmes in both cleared and bilateral form and in GBP and EUR – these use a wide variety of standard and non-standard instruments which include CPI swaps, swaptions, supra-national and overseas bonds.

He is also responsible for developing robust collateral frameworks to support mandates which include the use of credit repo, wider credit- support annexes and short duration credit funds.

Prior to joining the business in 2008, Chi was an investment consultant and senior structured products manager at HSBC.

Chi graduated with a first-class honours degree in mathematics with statistics from the University of Southampton.
