Shailesh is an Assistant Portfolio Manager in the Emerging Markets Debt team at L&G’s Asset Management division.

Shailesh’s responsibilities include analysing corporate issuers and collaborating closely with the Head of EMD and senior PMs, overseeing all aspects of portfolio management.

He also manages a short duration fund, mirroring the flagship strategy and is a lead PM for IG corporate mandate.

Shailesh joined the business in 2021 after completing his MA in finance from London Business School.

Prior to that, he was an Associate at J.P. Morgan working as a credit strategist for four years.

Shailesh also holds a BA in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
