Jose Almonte is a Senior Research Analyst at L&G – Asset Management, America. In his role, he focuses on the tobacco, utilities, chemical, and metals and mining sectors. 

Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Jose was a Senior Research Analyst at SIGMA Capital Fixed Income Advisor.

Prior to this, Jose was a Senior Research Analyst at FrontPoint Partners and the Clinton Group.

He also spent seven years at TIAA CREF in various roles within the Fixed Income team. 

Jose earned a BBA in Finance from Bernard Baruch College and an MBA from Fordham University. He is a CFA charterholder.
