Derek Gilby is Head of Long Income at L&G, with responsibility for the LPI and Annuity portfolios. Derek joined L&G in 1999, as a Senior Asset Manager and then subsequently Fund Manager for Central London Offices. Derek took on the role as Senior Fund Manager for the LPI fund in 2010. Prior to joining L&G, Derek was a senior surveyor in a private practice for over five years, principally in investment consulting and valuation. Derek holds a post graduate Masters in Property Valuation and Law, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
